Club of the Year

Open to any sports club that displays outstanding impact for the community. Achievements by nominees will only be considered if they have occurred during the qualifying period of 1 April 2024 to
1 April 2025.

Strong clubs could be exhibiting the following characteristics:
 

• Having a club/business plan

• Alignment to the national/regional bodies program 

• Evidence of volunteer management strategies (attract, develop, retain)

• Evidence of financial sustainability/viability

• Sound leadership (role descriptions for committee and key club roles, robust governance practices, key policies in place)

• Community engagement (e.g. with other clubs, schools, sponsors, external stakeholders or community groups)

• Coach development processes in place

• Diversity & Inclusion considerations
