Matt Warren -  Surf Lifesaving & Canoeing 
Matt Warren has guided Paekākāriki Surf Lifeguards’ new facility work as well as strengthening regional, national, and international pathways for volunteers. He has served as a member of Paekākāriki Surf Lifeguards Management Committee, on and off, for more than 30 years. Spending countless volunteer hours as a Start Coordinator at the Canoe Sprints, he is a Deputy Chief Official at the New Zealand Canoe Sprint National Championships, where he mentors the next generation of officials across the world.
