2025 Winner - Megan Muir, Softball & Baseball

Megan Muir is a driving force behind Hutt City United Softball and Baseball, leading growth, securing funding, and creating inclusive pathways for tamariki and rangatahi. In softball, she expanded junior teams from two to six, managed multiple club and representative teams, secured funding for equipment, uniforms, coaching, and school programmes, and managed St Patrick’s College to a national title. At the regional level, she managed Hutt Valley rep teams and supported national tournaments, and she
was appointed manager of the NZ U23 Women’s team. In baseball, she secured vital funding, managed national tournament campaigns, and oversaw all logistics, all while balancing full time work and family commitments.
