Club of the Year
2024 Winner - Wellington Phoenix FC
Wellington Phoenix FC showcased both sporting excellence and deep community engagement during the 2023-24 season. On the field, the men’s team topped the A-League table, while the women’s team achieved a club-record points tally, both reflecting the club's long-term commitment to nurturing top football talent in New Zealand. The club also made significant strides in community outreach, with initiatives like the Football for All program and participation in the A-League pride round, where proceeds benefited the rainbow charity InsideOUT. With a strong focus on promoting local talent, several academy graduates, including Lukas Kelly-Heald and Emma Main, stepped up to the first teams, exemplifying the club’s dedication to developing Wellington's football future.
